The reason behind the name of our "FAITH, AS IT IS" podcast!

FAITH, AS IT IS!

Nearly 2000 years ago, Jesus handed himself over to be crucified, it was his final purpose. However, before being handed over, He had accomplished what had to be done before the final sacrifice i.e. He taught His followers everything they would need to live a life that would please God and keep them content while they walked the Earth.

He had quite a few followers, but He appointed twelve of them to lead the rest. Out of the twelve, one was appointed as the leader.

Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He made sure that there was the Pope (Peter), the Magisterium (the rest of the Apostles) and the Church (the flock). Jesus left them with oral teachings, the disciples wrote some of it down (scripture) while continuing to preach orally.

This "deposit of faith" that Jesus handed over to His church, has been kept "as it is" by the grace of God. The church that Jesus built upon a rock, till today preached this "Faith, as it is!"

Today we are called to learn this, and preach! We are humbled to be chosen by God to be His disciples! And on our podcast we strive to preach this "FAITH, AS IT IS!"
